Consultation

Thank you for booking a Free 15 minute Telephone Consultation

I am very much looking forward to meeting with you and want to reassure you that I am here to listen and support you and will endeavour to make you feel comfortable and relaxed as quickly as possible.

Please find below my confidentiality policy, and will assume that if you attend the appointment arranged, you have read and agreed to the contents of it.

Confidentiality

Everything that is shared during the consultation is held in the strictest confidence with a few exceptions:

If you share something that indicates you are a serious risk to yourself If you share something that indicates you are a serious risk to others If you share that others are at serious risk, I have to feel that if I do not act, the 'serious risk' to either yourself or someone else could very likely;

- result in life limiting or changing injuries
- result in loss of life.

Under these circumstances I would be duty bound to share this with a third party in order to prevent these outcomes.

Further to this, I employ a supervisor who I meet monthly to review my case load and, like me, is bound by the above confidentiality exceptions.

FInally, please note I am unable to offer a 24/7 service. I endeavour to reply to all communications during normal office hours within 48 hours where possible. If you feel you are in crisis, please find useful services and their contact numbers and web addresses below.

Once again, I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Warm wishes,

Lindsey Kind

I am currently not able to offer sessions to people who are at significant risk to themselves.
